The State of West Bengal spread over an area of 88,752 sq.km. It has a population of 80.18 million. This population corresponds to 7.80% of India’s total population. The state covers the bottleneck of India in the east, stretching from the Himalayas in the north to the Bay of Bengal in the South. It is bounded on the north by Sikkim, Nepal and Bhutan, on the east by Assam and Bangladesh, on the south by the Bay of Bengal and on the west by Orissa, Bihar & Jharkhand. The state has a very high literacy rate and socio-political awareness not only in urban areas but also in rural areas. So the proposed Institution is a dream to the educated youths of the area. To cope up with the present educational need among the peoples of the rural area, “HAZI SULTAN DHALI MEMORIAL TRUST” is thinking of spread of education particularly teacher Education which is the base of education and proposed to establish an Institute of Teacher Education at Village-Chaltaberia, Plot No.-617, P.O.-Murarisha, P.S.-Hasnabad, Dist-North 24 Parganas.
